What’s Cyber Sista all about?

The Cyber Sista program was designed to give girls an advantage in prepping for a cyber security traineeship, balancing working and studying a Certificate IV in Cyber Security.

There are 25 positions available in the Cyber Sista program. And guess what? At the end of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to interview for a traineeship with IT company, Accenture!

What does the traineeship involve?

Accenture’s Cyber Security Traineeship is a two-year program. You’ll be a paid, full-time employee of Accenture, with your week divided between on-the-job training and formal study.

During the traineeship, you’ll learn from world-class specialists and work on real client projects. So cool!

At the end of the traineeship, you’ll have your Certificate IV in Cyber Security, starting in Feb 2022, and be well on your way to an awesome career in Accenture’s Cyber team.

When and where is Cyber Sista?

So you get a vibe for what it’s like working in a cyber security environment, the Cyber Sista program will be held at the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre (A3C) in Adelaide. It will take place from February 1 to February 4, 2022.

Interviews with Accenture will take place shortly after.

Who will I meet there?

You’ll meet stacks of cyber security pros and be able to hear all about their experience and stories on how they got to where they are. You’ll also get to meet other smart, driven, ambitious, funny, and incredible girls from a variety of backgrounds and areas.

How much does it cost?

Thanks to Cyber Sista’s sponsor, Accenture, your ticket will be fully paid for if you successfully apply and score one of the 25 spots.
