Whether you already live in a region or you’re considering relocating, put these regional uni open days in your diary now

We get it, the lure of the big city is real, but Australia’s regional universities are here to tell you: don’t overlook us. Regional unis offer specialisations some of their city counterparts don’t and when you’re at a regional uni you get to build ties with the local community, which can make it easier to get a job when you graduate.

So if you want to give back to the region you grew up in, or are just curious about what a regional uni is like, these Open Days are your ticket to fresh air and inspiration.

Central Queensland University

Living and learning in Central or Far North Queensland is a lifestyle that’s hard to beat. Specialities at CQU include psychology, engineering and technology.

Southern Cross University
