Going to uni doesn’t have to break the bank. Plus, many of these STEM scholarships bring more than money to help kick off your STEM career
Uni comes at a cost, and recent polls show financial pressures are seen as the number one reason standing in the way of people getting a uni education.
But if you’re set on uni and interested in a STEM course, the good news is there are hundreds of scholarships on offer, all designed to help people overcome common barriers on their path to a dream STEM career.
If you’ve got a shortlist of unis you’d like to go to, start by searching their websites for scholarship options, since there are far more than we can list here. Almost all Australian unis offer scholarships for women, Indigenous students and students who can demonstrate financial hardship.
