Meet Careers with STEM’s newest editor

Jasmine Fellows brings over 15 years of experience in STEM publishing

We’re excited to announce Jasmine Fellows as the new managing editor of Careers with STEM. Jasmine has dedicated her career to inspiring Australia’s next generation of STEM professionals.

With over 15 years in STEM publishing including the editor of Double Helix and Cosmos magazine, she brings a wealth of experience to this role. In 2023, Jasmine won the CSIRO Chief Executive Professional Development Award for her contributions to youth STEM publishing across Australia.

Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Science (Genetics), and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (History and Philosophy of Science), both from the University of NSW. She’s also completed postgraduate studies in Arts (Writing and Editing) through Swinburne University as well as Marketing Communications with the University of Canberra. This blend of Science and Arts makes her the perfect STEM + X role model.

When Jasmine isn’t hard at work editing articles, she spends her spare time as a prolific songwriter and cellist.

We are thrilled to welcome her and look forward to the exciting future of our Careers with STEM magazine and for the next generation of STEM professionals.

“If you want to make a difference in the world, it’s the perfect time to consider a STEM career. The future of work is forecast to be dynamic and evolving, and STEM is the perfect tool to help us adapt. I’m looking forward to connecting people to role models, content and inspiration to help them find the career path that’s right for them,” says Jasmine.
