Celebrate International Women’s Day with Girls Day Out in STEM

Girls Day Out in STEM 2025

March >>> Forward
Advanced Navigation Supports
Girls Day Out in STEM!

The future of STEM depends on diversity, creativity, and innovation for everyone.

As 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGS), Advanced Navigation is proud to continue supporting Girls Day Out in STEM (GDOS) – an exciting, fun-filled event empowering girls aged 10-14 (and anyone keen on STEM!) to explore science, technology, engineering, and maths in a safe, engaging space.

Closing the Gap

STEM is at the heart of solving global challenges, yet women remain underrepresented in these fields. UNESCO research shows only 1 in 3 researchers is a woman. In cutting-edge fields such artificial intelligence, only 1 in 5 professionals is a woman.

There is a need to diversify STEM.

Advanced Navigation creates robotic and navigation technologies. Our innovations help humans safely explore the world – from the deep ocean, across the desert, into our skies and even beyond to space!

Together with GDOS, we’re working to close the gender gap.

Inspiring the Next Generation

Girls Day Out in STEM isn’t just an event – it’s a movement! With exciting STEM challenges, inspiring talks, hands-on activities, and the opportunity to interact with real-life role models, participants will experience the thrill of seeing how STEM turns our world into a better place.

By supporting GDOS, Advanced Navigation is investing in future innovators, ensuring that every girl – no matter her background – has the chance to explore, create, and lead.

Let’s break barriers, spark curiosity, and March >>> Forward together!
