Are you an Australian uni student (Bachelor, Masters or PhD) looking for both an internship and international experience? Then the Nicolas Baudin “Internship in France” initiative could be the program for you!
Nicolas Baudin Internship in France
Launched in 2017, the scholarship offers students from participating Australian universities the opportunity to undertake a research internship at a French host university in collaboration with an industry partner. STEM students can gain experience in industries such as defence, aerospace, transportation and security. Program partners include Naval Group, surveillance infrastructure firm Cementys, civil engineering company Semofi and the major multinational Thales.
This year, ten Flinders university students have claimed scholarships – the most out of any participating uni. The students are set to kick off their international careers with industry-focused research projects in areas such as marine technology, advanced manufacturing, structural and materials engineering and even earthquake engineering.
