Cyber intelligence

    Briana Wade

Briana Wade’s family ran a robotics education business, so she’s been immersed in technology most of her life.

She graduated from ANU in Canberra with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree majoring in electronics and communications, and systems engineering.

“I’ve just started as a graduate in the digital protection group in the cybersecurity centre, where I do cyber intelligence research,” she says. “Essentially, we detect and stop internet bank robbers.

“We collect, analyse and distribute intelligence to help the business make decisions about new and emerging cyber threats.

“I really love what I’m doing – it’s so different, not at all what I expected, and really exciting.”
