Good news! In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, TAFE NSW has removed fees from a number of its online short courses.
The 21 short online courses are listed here on the TAFE NSW website. They cover a range of areas from accounting, to digital marketing, medical administration and using Excel spreadsheets. And yep, you heard that right – they’re completely free for people living and working in NSW (they’re fully subsidised by the NSW Government). The idea is to support people to re-enter the workforce with some new (formally recognised!) skills under their belt once life goes back to normal.

None of those 21 courses tickle your fancy? You might want to use this weird stuck-at-home time to learn to code or kick off one (or all) of these 5 STEM activities (and even win prizes!).
Before you sign up for any formal online courses, check out this post on making sure your tech set up is up to scratch.
Stay safe, stay home and happy e-learning!
